PROFICIENCY TESTING LEGIONELLA (Ref. 311-10-IC)

One of the requirements of quality management systems is the demonstration of the technical competence of the laboratory by participating in collaborative exercises, where its performance is measured in terms of z-score.

The organizer, independently and confidentially, provides the samples and instructions of the exercise, receive the results, analyze them statistically and generate a report for the participants.

The procedures used for the development and implementation of the exercise shall be based on the following documents:

• G-ENAC-14. "Guide to Participation in Intercomparison Programs".
• ISO/IEC 17043:2010. "Conformity assessment - general requirements for proficiency testing".
• ISO 13528:2015. "Statistical methods for use in proficiency testing by interlaboratory comparison"
